Hi, I’m Abby Pawley, founder and artist behind Pawley Prints. My passion for art began as a child, inspired by watching my mom create intricate mosaics. From the first moment I held a brush, I was captivated. Art wasn’t always easy. In elementary school, I faced rejection from the local art academy and, for a time, set my creativity aside. Thankfully, Mr. Nunnally, a kind custodian at my school, encouraged me to keep going. He celebrated my work, sharing it proudly with anyone who would listen. His belief in me became a guiding light, reminding me that my art mattered. Though I initially pursued a communications degree, thinking a career in art wasn’t practical, the encouragement I received stayed with me. Years later, learning that Mr. Nunnally still spoke fondly of my work inspired me to take a leap of faith. I left my job and founded Pawley Prints, turning a lifelong passion into a career. Today, through Pawley Prints, I create art that celebrates beauty, sparks joy, and connects with people on a personal level. Every piece I make carries a part of my journey—proof that with encouragement, courage, and creativity, dreams can take flight.
